In addition to nuclear and climate threats, new technological developments in the field of informational technologies as weapons began to pose a threat to the world, including the online campaigns of deception aimed at undermining the election and public confidence in the institutions necessary for free thinking and global security.The Doomsday clock is an internationally recognized symbolic indicator, which means how close we are to the destroying our Earth civilization through dangerous technologies of our own production. First is the nuclear weapons, but besides it global threats include climate technologies, new biotechnologies, and cybertechnologies, which can cause irreparable damage, whether by intention, miscalculation or accident, to our way of life and the planet as a whole.However, the international practice shows that national leaders begin to respond only then, when citizens insist on it. According to scientists, only citizens are able to require from the present rulers actions to reduce existential threats of nuclear war and uncontrolled climate change. Only they, using now in addition also the opportunity of the Internet, have the power and potential to make the world safer and healthier in long term.But unfortunately, they do not do it, because there is no properly formed supranational global civil society on the planet. All the recent calls by former UN Secretary-General |Ban Ki-moon and UNESCO to form a global citizenship remained without attention, and therefore the world, according to adamant opinion of the nuclear scientists, rolls into the abyss.The formation of global citizenship is hindered by the lack in humanity's common mind of a healthy supranational global social consciousness.
